oblak is a platform that enables people to use some of the best open source apps with a single login.
Each app gives you access to a part of the fediverse, the federated internet. A federated network is a networks where users of different platforms can talk to each other through a common protocol.

The Fediverse
Example: you are on Signal, but your friend is on WhatsApp. Unless you or your friend comes over to Signal or you install WhatsApp, you won't be able to talk. In the Fediverse this works differently.
When you register on oblak and your friend registers on Unredacted (or any other platform listed at JoinMatrix), you can still talk to each other. This works because both platforms use the same protocol to chat (Matrix).
